Private Function Room
Our private function room is available to hire for intimate gatherings, private parties, weddings, retirements, meetings, and special events. Drink packages, buffet and corporate, and set menus available. The room can hold up to 120 standing, or 90 for a seated dinner. The room features 2 projector screens, as well as AV sound and lighting.

Mezzanine
Looking to have some privacy for your group but still be part of the warm Committee Room 9 atmosphere? The Mezzanine is available to hire as either booths for up to 6, or for a party up to 24. The Mezz is overlooking the bar and gives a perfect view of the big screens for live sports.
Raised 1 (Away Stand)
This area has three tables of 6 or can be booked for a large party for 18 seated or 30 standing and seated for drinks.
Raised 2 (Main Stand)
This area has a range of 2 and 4 person tables and a high table for 10 guests. You can also book this area out for a party of up to 50 guests for seating and standing.
Main Bar (Pitch)
This area is closest to the bar. We have 2 large high tables which can seat up to 8 guests each or be pushed together. We also have a couple 3 person high tables to be booked here too! This area is disabled accessible .

Committee Room No. 9 is a hidden treasure located in the heart of Merchant City. With the registry office only a stones’ throw away, as well as the picturesque scenery of George Square, it is the perfect venue to celebrate after your wedding ceremony. It is less than a five minute walk to Glasgow queen street, taxi links, and regular bus services, allowing transport to be less of a worry.
